How to Customize the Text Message Body
You can customize message that shows on the text version of your Messages. From the Message Info box in your message Draft, type in the 60 character or less Text Message into the third box down called Text Message Body.
This Text Message Body will show first on your Contacts' text message previews, and above the link they get to see your full Message.
